I was just at Canadian Tire. Alberta flags are just about sold out again at $20 each, Canadian flags are on sale for $9.99 each and the rack is full, no one is buying them. 😂 #AlbertaIndependence

My message to @MarkJCarney after today's vote on support for students at career colleges: "You cannot pretend to believe in building this country if you treat the people who do the building with disdain and disrespect."

Fun fact: Notely's NDP vastly outpaced Smith's UCP on building/upgrading schools. 244 approved/169 completed. Notely funded this from the general budget, she did not have to jack up your property taxes like the UCP have. Don't blame your city for the increase, blame the UCP.

To the next generation: speak up and stand up for what you believe. More and more young Canadians are rejecting left wing politics that try to tell them what to think. They want the freedom to think for themselves, build a future, and actually get ahead. They are tired of rising costs, out of reach housing, and a system that is not working for them. In Alberta, we are fixing that with lower taxes, less government, more homes, and stronger job opportunities. I was proud to share that message with a great group of young people at the Campus Conservative Association of Calgary.

@Timsiebs How can the machines be hacked if no one knows how they work? All the machine knows is the position of the darker square and counts them.

Nope, it's because machines can be hacked/manipulated and most people wouldn't have the expertise to figure it out. Democracies have been manually counting votes since ancient Greece and it's been working fine right through the golden age of the West. No need to mess with what works. Every party is welcome to send scrutineers to verify the counting is done accurately, and anyone can scrutineer. Unlike with voting machines, it doesn't take specialized technicians to verify.

Mitch Silvestre with Stay Free Alberta just announced that the petition campaign regarding Alberta independence has surpassed the minimum number of signatures required for it to proceed to a referendum! Plus there's already enough buffer signatures to make up for any which will be disqualified by Elections Alberta during their review & verification. So that's great confirmation to hear, however the push for as many more signatures as possible continues. The more signatures that are collected for this petition, the more it'll make waves by demonstrating that there's momentum on the side of independence-- that we're not just a "small fringe minority" as the regime media likes to portray us 😆

From replies on other posts I have learned the following about AB separatists: They are entitled, they care only for themselves, they are close minded, they are ignorant, they are misinformed, they drank way too much Kool-Aid, they hate Canada and Canadians, and they are wrong.

@Timsiebs I suggested that both are done... Why not both? You're saying because people don't know how it works we shouldn't use it at all vs. teaching people... How does your cell phone work, just any part of it.

@Lanny981685 @stayfreealberta I'm not that much younger than you are. My choice will be staying in Canada regardless of what that means. That's the correct choice. When a lot of people leave Alberta at least the housing will be affordable.

If you know NOTHING ELSE about Canadian Politics, know that this alone is why Alberta needs out. 34 out of 37 opted to go blue in the federal election. By all rights, a mega supermajority. 0% of them have any say, federally- and if they do, the needs of Quebec and Ontario come first. There is no fair deal we can make with the present framework- where 92% of the will of the province is consistently ignored, while people at the opposite end continue oppressive lawmaking, regulation, culture, and views towards Alberta.

@furmsies That can be turned around. Canadians outside Alberta are selfish and spoiled while abusing the province that provides. Arrogance blinds people to their own situation.

@Timsiebs Why do you think they banned voting machines in Alberta? So they can rig the count in favour of separating... Obviously. They already had the counting machines they could have still used them to audit the manual count, but didn't...
