Bro I’m in uk right now, abroad is only good when you are coming with a good qualification, like doctor, engineer, nurse, or any health professional. The care and mental health is not part. They make the same money as the warehouse workers, unless you have a high position. Without nkrataa you’re finish. If you come without qualification too, you has to start everything afresh. If you make decent money in Ghana, there’s no point of relocating.

This is not even a question. Even 15K GHS (£1,000) salary in Accra is better than £3K salary in London on so many levels. With 15K GHS salary in Accra, you can rent a decent 2-bedroom house and even afford a maid or house help and have a good social life as well as save some. With £3K salary in London, you will live in shared accommodation or at best a 1 bedroom flat (called chamber and hall) in Ghana—and you can’t afford any help or even save much. You wouldn’t have any better social life too. They should compare 15K GHS salary in Accra to £7K salary in London—that is when you can have similar lifestyle choices. The Prime Minister of UK earns about £8K as salary after tax and NI deductions—so you can imagine how you will earn £7K per month easily. I have lived in both worlds with great salaries/income and I know this. — Chris Vincent writes
