Today, I submitted this petition to the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament.
This is not about politics or personalities. It is about the standards we expect from those entrusted with public office and the responsibility we all share to protect our children.
Every child who walks through the doors of parliament should leave feeling inspired, respected and safe.
I have every confidence that the Speaker will give this petition the consideration it deserves in the interest of Parliament and the Ghanaian people especially its dear children.

🇬🇭 A 35-year-old taxi driver, identified as Kwabena Awuah, popularly known as “Asawado,” has been found dead inside his taxi at Kotwi-Nkoransa in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.
The incident reportedly occurred around midnight, with the driver’s taxi bearing registration number AW 2458-20. Police from Brofoyedru have conveyed the body to the mortuary as investigations into the suspected killing continue.

A young woman has shared footage with THE STATE NEWS, alleging that she was sexually harassed by a taxi driver during a ride.
She said she lives in the Eastern Region but schools in Tema, and that the driver allegedly attempted to touch her inappropriately after she boarded the taxi while returning home from class. She started recording after suspecting it would happen again and captured a second attempt.
She added that she remained calm because she was unfamiliar with the area and wanted to safely reach her destination.
