@skramouttahere I love this album. I could be talking crazy here but I think besides the obvious misfits/danzig influence I think AFI listened to this album and was like "oh shit we gotta do something like this". I'd guess even glassjaw was influenced by this too.

while I think the refused's simply being nation of ulysses copycats is an oversimplification and doesnt get at their sound and what they did, I do not get talking about them and their relationship to post hardcore while not even having heard their main influences

@hogtwt it's widely considered one of the classic genre defining albums of the time so f my opinion on it but i'm just saying Tbs I don't love this track but I think it's a goof. Watching the video for the first time in idk forever it's clearly a satire on pop/hip-hop at the time

@MFdrybones U see the actual album is good i like it i just dont think its one of the greatest. Like i think belt is one of the best opening tracks ive heard but i think some songs on the album fall flat (in my opinion) and i dont really like the bonus tracks that much 🤷
