Biden was handed the nomination in a rigged primary. He beat Trump in a year any Democrat would have won. He was such a disappointment, giving us four more years of right wing policies, that neither he nor his VP could win in 2024. Running centrists is bad strategy & bad policy.

It's odd how people just memory holes that Joe Biden was the most moderate candidate running in the 2020 primary, won the primary and then beat Trump. Talarico was supported by plenty of moderates in the primary. He's not running as an unapoletic leftist in Texas.

@racingkhantz Yeah because those cars made very little downforce at all. What I’ve been calling for since 1995.

There’s nothing wrong with running ARCA alone by the way. It ain’t what it used to be, but I held regulars like Tim Steele, Bobby Bowser and Frank Kimmel in high regards. Garrett would gain a lot of respect running as much ARCA as his schedule would allow.

@RyCamN7 @DirtyMoMedia He’s the new Danica. Going to get praised for runs that would get normal racers rightly criticized for. 6 laps off the pace in RCR stuff screams ARCA ability.

@joe_srigley @notbubbawallace It shows the desperation of the industry. NASCAR used to make ⭐️. Now they are so hard up for any ratings bump that they’ll fast track an influencer with a big enough following. It’s great that Garrett wants to be there, but it’s a disservice to the credibility of the racing.

In a vacuum, Cleetus McFarland did exactly what he needed to do by finishing all of the laps without destroying his race car. HOWEVER, his performance today shows that he needs to run some more in ARCA and Trucks before continuing in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series… especially at Talladega. He’s great for the sport and brings new eyes to the sport, but they should be watching as Cleetus makes a legitimate climb through the ranks — not a rushed jump up that is going to continue to provide poor results.
Joseph Srigley@joe_srigley

It was an afternoon filled with highlights for Cleetus McFarland -- making his #NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut in the No. 33 for @RCRRacing -- with a full spin, four half spins, and a really, really close call. McFarland finished P32, six laps down, after all this⬇️

"I could think of 1000 other things I would rather Democrats pick fights about now. Like, why him right now?" "Because he's making their life harder." @Timodc and @SarahLongwell25 spar over one of the biggest questions facing Democrats right now: what to do about Hasan Piker?

Debates around driver approval process aside, one thing I really like about Cleetus being in this race is that it showed a lot of non-NASCAR fans out there who follow his YT just how hard it is to drive at this level, and it's not even the top division.

@DirtyMoMedia Objectively not good. “Not wrecking the car” at the expense of 4 self spins and seconds off pace should not be the bar at this level. He needs to take a step back if he’s serious about this being something.

P32. A handful of spins. BUT, he kept the ol’ Chevy clean 👌🏻 How would y’all assess Cleetus’ NOAPS debut? Reply OR drop us a line for Reaction Theatre. ☎️(704) 802-9572

@markmartin There ain’t going to be any long term growth from a guy 6 laps down. He’s too far off the pace to bridge that gap. This shows the approval process is made up as they go. They wanted access to his following.
