This pick Haze playstyle is so stupid, can one shot anyone isolated on the map. Just go invis and find someone, dagger them into ult, then slowing hex/curse them as you start your ult and they disappear. Love that both Haze ult and Curse were nerfed and this is already back lmao Build ID: 646614

my kelvin was genuinely an ai (looked EXACTLY like how bots do when you spectate them) instead of shrines and then mid while entire team is down my victor forces drop so they respawn and we all die. i hate it here

What is with these games of phantom and ascendant riddled with 10+ deaths teammates. Like each game for the last 3 days I’ve played I’ve had 2 feeders on my team each time. What does a guy gotta do to get a decent team?

@RohanGod_ The system is in place so teams that are losing don’t immediately stopped and there still the “I can win this aspect”. If you deny urn and have better team fights and macro you will inevitably win. Like I was saying before though, they don’t want a one sided stomp every game

League of Legends is a lot harder than Deadlock. In fact, I no longer think it’s comparable. I don’t think it CAN be comparable with Deadlock’s current systems. That’s not to say that DL is an easy game at all bt! I still think Deadlock’s mechanical ceiling COMPLETELY blows League’s out of the water, and the macro aspect isn’t too far behind League’s either. However, n of that matters when the game holds your hand by injecting a gold-hack onto your account as a reward for getting your back absolutely blown out in lane. My sudden jump in opinion between games comes down to literally 1 factor. Punishment. In LoL, snowballing and the ability to 1v9 carry off of winning lane has been massively toned down over the years. It’s actually basically nonexistent today compared to 10 seasons ago, where you’d land 2 solokills on good wavestates toplane and be 4 levels up on the lobby 10 minutes later. However, there’s still a significant degree of punishment you’ll face from making stupid mistakes in lane. Make consecutive mistakes in lane and you can outright ruin your entire game, nearly irreparably. Deadlock in it’s current state is basically the polar opposite lol. Sometimes, you can actually die 4-5+ times in lane and only be marginally behind (sometimes even if your team gets the comeback urns) 10 minutes later. I think it’s a combination of comeback mechanics being WAY too strong and a lack of a 3rd neutral objective. Obviously, it’s also cause of a general lack of coordination resulting in more throws, but this is an unfixable problem. Welcome to solo queue ladders in team based games 😭 I still think Deadlock’s mechanical ceiling COMPLETELY blows League’s out of the water, and the macro aspect isn’t too far behind League’s either. I also do think the souls system makes snowball very tricky to balance, since gold and exp are combined into 1 resource. Making snowball a tiny bit higher can tip the scales and make mid-game demons (Mina Celeste Yamato Apollo etc) completely thanos exodia overpowered, they are already strong af LMAO. I’d honestly like to see a non-money related neutral objective (LoL dragon soul equivalent) put into DL before nerfing comeback souls. OBVIOUS DISCLAIMER: All of this is subject to change since DL still isn’t complete. But, as of now, I just don’t think DL is punishing enough to compare to LoL in difficulty.

@RohanGod_ The “better play” aspect I’m talking about is meant to apply to late game. If you make 1 good play late game and timers are at 85 seconds, as long as you macro right the game is essentially over.

@RohanGod_ Such as urn, there are many ways you can punish those people that feed in lane even more than you already have. If you can’t keep them from coming back then you or your team are making the error.

my changes to deadlock: 1. remove items and upgrades 2. instead of breaking guardians youre on linear the attackers have to escort a new objective called "payload" to the end 3. Give roles to heroes: tank, dps, and support 4. 5v5 instead of 6v6 5. rename the game to "deadlock 2"
