I'm thinking this shift is permanent.
I can see no scenario where AI won't pay more for GPUs than consumers will.
Compute is moving to the cloud. There are over 2000 datacenter being built and more planned.
We're heading towards end-point viewers on our phones and screens.

But, it is also has issues. Comfort for one. Lots of kids play it and will continue.

The anti-AI backlash is incredible. Especially coming from people whose art is CGI or photoshop based and regularly remix IP from stuff they don't own. Like, the complete self-righteousness and lack of self-awareness. But hey, nothing can really be done about it.

@kyleshannon @Robotbeat I know a number of artists that use AI now. None of them had to be told by someone else how they use it. They saw the threat, embraced it, and now produce better results for themselves.

No something can be done. Have empathy for how much fear there is and how scared people are. Explain to them how you work with the tools as a collaborator not a replacement and let them know that love it or hate it AI isn't going away, and if that is true, then you either deal with it or you have it happen to you.
The latter is going to suck, so you might as well grab a surfboard and paddle out where the big waves are breaking.

@AlexMartin6687 @Robotbeat I strongly disagree. Maybe for some images, but for complex images, comics, and especially videos, you have to really get in the weeds for it to come out how you want. Look up ComfyUI screenshots/workflow vids, for example.

Not all students learn at the same rate. I'd be curious if this is cherry picked for this ai school.
Most of school is trying to catch the lower half of the class with the upper half.

the fact that kids attending AI schools rank in the top 1% of standardized tests with only 2h of learning per day is proof that traditional schools were never about learning, just compliance.
