@jamesupnorth Yep. It’s close to a club record fee so we’ll only get close to that to replace one of our leading players. We probably need to add a CM to the squad for next season, all things considered, but unless someone major leaves I’d expect it to be for depth/rotation.

These people smear anyone arguing that Russia has legitimate security concerns that can be resolved by ending NATO expansionism, which is also intended to sound like support for Ukraine. It is the exact opposite. By claiming that recognition of Russian security concerns is an effort to "legitimise" the invasion or claiming that diplomacy "rewards" Putin, these people make a diplomatic solution impossible and thus sell a long war that destroys Ukraine. These people demand that all comments and analyses about the war must solely condemn Russia, which sounds supportive. Yet, the simplistic portrayal of a struggle between an aggressor and a victim is then used to argue that the aggressor cannot be rewarded in any settlement. These manipulative warmongers may dress up in the colours of Ukraine and Europe, but they are destroying both.

@Elnesse1 @Jw_Av04 Don't think he's got the attributes to be a top player for any club in this league for the reasons mentioned above. Europe is a very different type of game and we've seen him play better there, which is why I think he'd be better off in a league that plays closer to that style.

@Elnesse1 @Jw_Av04 Think he gets that from Emery, has talked him up all season and played him often. Think he lacks the pace and strength to be a top player in this league. Certainly lacks the willingness to go in for 50/50 challenges. Perhaps a better player in a league with different demands.

SCR is tighter but champions league sorts us out and gives us some room to manoeuvre. Restrictions also end at end of this calendar year
