@MrMJEllis @MrTs_NQTs @MrWithersKS1 @OUPPrimary @Eastfield_Leics @PrimaryIdeas Love the use of Materials generally, your videos and your use of Numicon. this particular video made however made me wonder… is it ok to teach kids that fractions can in some situations can be 2 out of 3, or stick with 2/3 always being two thirds?

Finding fractions of amount. This is how we manipulate the tiles so that all children practise and embed learning. It’s not for all, but it helps support our children with another tricky area of maths. Resource led ❤️
