There was a 17-year-old boy who was currently on trial. He was accused of breaking into a house and stealing at night. However, the boy neither stole money nor any items. He had only taken a dog with him.
The dog's condition was very poor; a wire was embedded in its neck, and its body was badly injured and tied with a cinder block. The owner accused the boy of theft, but the boy's lawyer argued that it was a rescue. (What are your thoughts on whether it was theft or a rescue? Please share in the comments.)
The judge ordered that the dog be brought to the court. As soon as the dog passed by its owner and saw him, it became frightened and sat down on the ground, urinating in the process.
When the dog approached the boy, it learned that he was sitting down and sat on his lap, resting its head on his shoulder. The entire court watching went silent, and then the judge didn't hear anything further.

@MaryBoots929 @feelgoodtale The kid rescued the dog. How is it that owner is not in jail? My friend rescued an abused Pomeranian from vile people, this was about 2012ish drove 50 miles to me and gave the Pom to me where she lived out her life in comfort, peace and love.

To everyone bitching about Texas Roadhouse allowing that dog who was deployed twice, to eat a steak in the restaurant on Veterans Day, I'd rather sit next to him than rowdy, bratty kids all day long. Over the years I have presented many really sick people. As someone who loves animals, I truly cannot believe a human could do this to a puppy. You can call me cruel if you wish, I’d have no problem putting Desmond in a fire and him having the same fate as the puppy. Who raised this sick sub human? Did you know that people who torture animals often turn into serial killers! Why give this guy that chance, really??

Orangeburg, South Carolina - A puppy was burned alive during a livestream, and now justice is catching up. 29-year-old Desmond Levon Brown pleaded guilty to federal “animal crushing” under the PACT Act. Authorities say he threw the puppy into a fire and kicked it back into the flames while streaming. He later admitted it on a recorded jail call. Brown now faces up to 7 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
