Today is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. On March 29, 1973, the last American combat troops came home from Vietnam. More than 2.7 million Americans put on the uniform, crossed an ocean, and fought for the flag. 58,220 of them paid the ultimate sacrifice. Congress designated this day as National Vietnam War Veterans Day as a permanent promise that America would never forget their service to our country. To every Vietnam veteran and Gold Star family, our nation thanks you.

Our farmers and ranchers are the backbone of Idaho. In Congress, I’ll keep fighting to protect their livelihoods and ensure our agricultural legacy thrives for generations to come.
