Harming a law enforcement working animal is appalling and evil. As a dog lover and someone who adamantly supports the working dogs who have served on the front lines, voting in favor of this bill was one of the easiest decisions of my congressional career.

Shocking vote count here… I have supported proposing a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution since I first came to Congress, and was proud to vote YES on @RepAndyBiggsAZ's effort on the House floor today.

For Democrats, requiring the federal government to balance the budget, just like families have to every month, is too big an ask. They’d rather bankrupt YOUR kids’ future than cut off funding for their partisan projects. Sickening.

Billions of dollars in fraud were uncovered under the noses of failed leaders like Tim Walz and Keith Ellison in Minnesota. Those who enter this country with the intent of defrauding the American people should not be allowed to stay. Foreign fraudsters who play the system and the American people must be held accountable.

TSA agents missed their first full paycheck last Friday, and Americans are missing their flights because Senate Democrats have voted time and again to deny resources for homeland security operations and personnel. The shutdown could be over today - and TSA agents would be paid, and travel plans wouldn't be affected - if Senate Democrats supported the very framework they once agreed to. Four Confirmed Deceased in Loss of U.S. KC-135 Over Iraq TAMPA, Fla. – At approximately 2 pm ET on March 12, a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft went down in western Iraq. Four of six crew members on board the aircraft have been confirmed deceased as rescue efforts continue. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. However, the loss of the aircraft was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire. The identities of the service members are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
