An historic day today, Alhamdolillah.
Pakistan has cemented its place as a peacemaker, and Inshallah as world leaders convene for peace talks this Jumma Mubarak, we shall continue our efforts for negotiating a lasting peace to the region, Inshallah.
After battling the scourge of militancy, and taking on Talibans both Afghan and Pakistani, we are redefining our global identity
This has been possible due to a strong civil and military collaboration. A collaboration that has recently brought us responding success against Indian aggression, and now has brokered a ceasefire and a diplomatic initiative bringing warring countries on together for negotiations in Islamabad.
A nation’s prayers are with PM Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, that we may find success in these initiatives, Inshallah.

امروز بعدازظهر، گفتوگویی گرم و پربار با رئیسجمهور ایران، آقای دکتر مسعود پزشکیان، داشتم.
در این گفتوگو، مراتب قدردانی عمیق خود را از درایت و دوراندیشی رهبری ایران در پذیرش پیشنهاد پاکستان برای میزبانی گفتوگوهای صلح در اسلامآباد در اواخر این هفته، با هدف تلاش مشترک برای بازگرداندن آرامش به منطقه، ابراز کردم.
رئیسجمهور پزشکیان نیز ضمن تأیید مشارکت ایران در مذاکرات پیشرو، از تلاشهای پاکستان قدردانی کرده و بهترین آرزوهای خود را برای مردم پاکستان ابراز داشت.
پاکستان همچنان متعهد است که در همکاری نزدیک با تمامی دوستان و شرکای خود، برای تقویت صلح و ثبات در منطقه و فراتر از آن تلاش کند.

I had a warm and substantive conversation with President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran, this afternoon. I conveyed my deep appreciation for the wisdom and sagacity of the Iranian leadership in accepting Pakistan’s offer to host peace talks in Islamabad later this week to work jointly for the return of peace to the region. President Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s participation in the upcoming negotiations and expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts, while conveying his best wishes for the people of Pakistan. Pakistan remains committed to working closely with all its friends and partners to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond. @drpezeshkian

As we proceed to *Islamabad Talks*, I wish to extend our deepest and sincere gratitude to our brotherly countries People’s Republic of China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Türkiye, Arab Republic of Egypt and State of Qatar for extending invaluable and all out support towards reaching the ceasefire and giving peaceful diplomatic efforts a chance to seek a comprehensive and conclusive end to the conflict. I would also like to deeply appreciate and thank our brotherly countries of Gulf Cooperation Council, whose consistent support and commitment to peace and stability in the region remains quintessential for our efforts. The leadership of all our brotherly countries and United States of America demonstrated exceptional strategic foresight, sagacity and patience in giving peace a chance. I also thank all our partners and friends across the globe who have reached out and acknowledged Pakistan’s sincere efforts for the global peace. Let us all work together to forge a lasting peace in the region and beyond!
