One thing is very clear that life of an average Indian man has become quite hard like at least 2 generations back( Boomers, GenX or early millennial till 1982-1983) a man even if he was lazy good for nothing, below average in studies used to get a Job and start a family. Even if he was weak like a sheep and doesn’t have any confidence at all can live and provide a very decent life. Now it’s Go big or Go home situation.
