@JFargone1 @fandompulse I say 'almost' but the ultra violence seemed justified, righteous...The characters that pitt and decap played had more of that classic bruce Willis style to them..all the other characters paper thin. The more i think about it, the less i care for the movie however!

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I don't take Q.T. so seriously as a film maker..but he has some stylistic and humourous flourishes that have genuinely shocked me at times. In Res dogs it turned me off, in Pulp it was so absurd but funny, in Once, it was almost the same as in Reservoir Dogs..

And the truth is, in real life, shooting sex scenes is a pain—everyone gets really tense. And if it was a bit of a hassle to do before, it’s even more so now. If a sex scene had ever come up that was essential to the story, I would have done it, but so far it hasn’t been necessary." Is there a need for sex scenes in films and TV?

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I judge Q.T. as an occasionally brilliant film maker...but since 1990 its been slim pickens. 2 movies in 30 years..!? The rest junky pop culture retreds. There is quite the cult around him but it really is quite facile.

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I found Pulp Fiction to be funny in a farcical way, but I wouldn't say it was particularly smart nor moral. It's soundtrack was groundbreaking like Reservoir Dogs one, Once upon a time in Hollywoods sound track was also great. It's the soundtracks that linger for me.

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I found reservoir dogs to be a harrowing watch, not pleasant for the most part, funny occasionally. Zero rewatchability. Pulp Fiction, less harrowing, funnier. Once Upon, has an interesting conceit which wasn't taken as far as I thought it would be but had lots of style.
