@NeoPar72 @fandompulse Dude they had their qualities - but had some real problems with Dogs also… it was that film that led me to realize exactly how this dirtbag made it to the top of Hollywood …he knew how to get people to talk about a film thru stylized violence & smooth dialogue.
English

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I found Pulp Fiction to be funny in a farcical way, but I wouldn't say it was particularly smart nor moral. It's soundtrack was groundbreaking like Reservoir Dogs one, Once upon a time in Hollywoods sound track was also great. It's the soundtracks that linger for me.
English

Quentin Tarantino explains why he does not include nudity or sex scenes in his films:
"Sex isn’t part of my vision of cinema. And the truth is, in real life, shooting sex scenes is a pain—everyone gets really tense. And if it was a bit of a hassle to do before, it’s even more so now. If a sex scene had ever come up that was essential to the story, I would have done it, but so far it hasn’t been necessary."
Is there a need for sex scenes in films and TV?

English

@NeoPar72 @fandompulse Some of the shots and setups were good/talented (meaning from aesthetic/cinematography pov) in those were good - but were terribly overrated. Pulp Fiction was total style over substance with just enough substance to get wanna-be sophisticates to think it art form 🤮
English

@JFargone1 @fandompulse I've only been able to enjoy about 3 and a half of his movies...The rest, not really my thing. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Once upon a time in Hollywood..(True Romance-script)...
English

@akirathedon @fandompulse @akirathedon my respect 🫡 just skyrocketed…this charlatan, with a thin layer of film making ability, parlayed it into Hollywood power by appealing to an audience desperately in need of validation as a “sophisticate” - via shock-value posing as “art” -thank you👏
English

@akirathedon I’ll drink to that! Cuz’ I’m well past that point 😅🥳🥂🍷
English

@tokyoaeste I wanna’ form an “ANYTHING alliance” with these gals 🤩🥵😍

@BrianRoemmele @jobscrisis “…low protein drive-by comments” …good one 👏 …writing that down 📝 😅

Are you fully prepared for the Neo-Luddites?
They will make the last two decades look like paradise as the political class rides them like a cheap donkey to try to inflict their dying proletariat class struggles as the classes disappear.
Don’t guess what is next we have a map:

@aruvinchan Yup - the old rule of thumb still rings true: if you’re not gettin’ anywhere by the 3rd date - move on.
English

Just refuse to wait for sex.
Move on from women who obviously are withholding intimacy and putting you on some kind of sex clock.
Stop entertaining women who are focused on extracting benefits out of you or forcing you to earn their affection and prove yourself to them without giving you anything in return whatsoever.
Refuse to give your time, money, and energy to women who don't reciprocate.
You can't miraculously become the guy who beds women on the first date, that takes more than just a change in mindset.
But you can definitely become the guy who doesn't get used and strung along.
All it takes is self-respect, and all of us -- no matter how far gone we think we may be -- have it deep within us.
English

@SteveLovesAmmo Go - it’s an amazing country…and no worries - this guy is always there to defend against all monsters - foreign and domestic (only some older Americans will get this):

@BridgetPhetasy @Aella_Girl All us adults who have no kids are fully aware of all you parents who have those “screaming children” …and ear plugs ain’t enough to help 😖😱😣😫
English

@Aella_Girl I have a little girl and she and her friends love nothing more than to play and scream and I’m sure there is some evolutionary reason for this.
English

Women's ability to scream is actually extremely important. Once at 2am in istanbul I got stalked down deserted alleyways. I tried to run but he followed me; in a dead end i turned around, he was lunging at me, and something primal and ancient took over; i screamed with a scream I didn't know i was capable of. I was not conscious of it, it was like I was possessed, it was ear-splitting.
The guy stuttered to a halt, and everybody in the near vicinity buildings woke up. He bolted away, and all the neighbors came out to try to help.
It was really cool to find out my body came installed with alarm hardware that I'd never before had cause to get activated. It was effective! It possibly saved my life!

@BrianRoemmele Aww EF 🤦🏻♂️…I just had to do it …I read the post but stopped short of listening …then saw it again and just couldn’t stop myself …aye yai yai 😖🤯😫😣

@aruvinchan With respect 🙏- DISAGREE 💯 %: solo travel is the greatest liberating experience a man can ever do (women are another discussion) and I could challenge 90% of this list - but I’ll just state this: it forces you to interact with other cultures - and changes you for the better.
English

Solo travel is cope.
The truth is solo travel feels incredibly lonely and meaningless.
There's almost no aspect of solo travel that cannot be made better by having the right travel partner.
We know by asking women why they travel solo.
99% of the time, they say something like, "Well it's either I go alone, or I don't go at all."
Men, of course, are a little more prideful about this and wouldn't admit it so directly.
But really they're signalling their inability to find the right travel partner or even any travel partner who's willing to pull her own weight.
Sure, you can travel solo "socially."
Like stay at backpacker hostels and join a tour group, etc.
But those aren't your friends, those are people you've just met, and you're spending some of the most beautiful moments in a new exciting place... with total strangers, instead of bonding with your loved ones over a unique shared experience.
Of course that still beats roaming a new city/country on your own, and, if I had to travel solo, that's exactly how I'd do it.
Still it's also a very unnatural thing to do.
Human beings are social creatures who yearn to bond.
It makes sense to shop for groceries alone, run errands alone, go to the gym alone, even go to the cinema alone.
But travelling alone is cope.
It's really strange that people can lack travel partners.
I've never lacked travel partners ever -- anytime I wanted to go somewhere, I've always had 0 trouble finding a person to go with me.
Even in a new city/country/continent like I am now.
I just don't understand why it's so difficult to invite someone else along.
English

@TheJerzWay Ya’ missed the most important one:
- hot women
…even if you’re married or have a GF, gotta’ have eye-candy 🍭👙🥳🥂
English

Everyone argues about “the best place to live” but nobody defines the criteria.
Here’s mine:
Walkability
Food scene
Flight access
Things to do
Weather
Taxes
Beach proximity
Cost of living
Safety
How hard daily life actually is
Most people optimize for one and ignore the rest.
That’s how you end up somewhere that looks good on paper but feels terrible in reality.
What’s on your list?
English

Last week Democrat Congressman @RoKhanna sat down with me for an hour.
We talked AI, fraud, his proposed wealth tax, Elon Musk, public schools, transgender policies, illegal immigration, Epstein, DEI and more.
Lots of disagreement but nothing off limits. Full episode Wednesday!
English

@yoyonofukuoka @melly_bee_well I can confirm this …2022/2023 I spent a month in Kyoto and a week in Tokyo …everyone treated me like I was the only visitor to Japan 🇯🇵 …and aside from that it was beyond amazing and beautiful🤩 ❤️
English

@Architectolder Well SURE @Architectolder - if the below is you (otherwise-I’ll just look forward to more great architecture pics 😎)

English

@AMAZlNGNATURE @ViKu1111 Agreed we should all be swimming with hot women in bikinis instead of working 5 days a week …(heck with the horses 🤣)
