going from ult to melee there are hardly many things where im like “that was so mf stupid” but I cant imagine the other way around LMFAO. if im a melee player seeing Hero menu, Luigi grab, Rob Gyro, Minmin arms, Olimar pikmin, Steve, Kaz EWGF… etc for the first time id kms 😭

@TierZoo You’re gonna get heat for this but there’s truth here. It took 3 tries in 15 years but eventually they figured out you can make a platfighter feel good to play without Melee APM. Sakurai’s problems are 1) wavedashing is still so cool as a spectator and 2) it took 3 tries.

You appear on my screen and suddenly every adjective in the English language evades me. “Pretty?” Too small. “Gorgeous?” Still inadequate. “Stunning?” That one collapses halfway through the sentence like it knows it cannot possibly do you justice. Painters would ruin their eyesight trying to capture your visage on canvas. The kind of face poets would spend their entire lives writing about only to sigh at the end and feel they still didn’t get it right. Somewhere in another century a sculptor would’ve stared at you for three seconds, thrown down his chisel, and retired because marble simply isn’t capable of holding that much elegance. @Royal264 @ZainNaghmi Sub 9 is a reasonable target for a dedicated grind. The score database has 63 unique people with sub-9 times in melee history, including Armada at 11th with an 8.57.

@ZainNaghmi i guess i should have said get below 9 seconds, the world record is 08s 080ms but honestly i dont know how hard getting a time below 9 would be ngl, maybe 9.5 or 9.25 is better
