Like I said, you’re the clown. You mentioned the lived experience of people who hate thatcher without stopping to think that people who voted for her 3 times also have lived experience and what it might be. Of course she was polarising and provoked strong reactions in people. But to pretend like the reaction was only one direction (because that’s the one you agree with) is comical.
It’s the same way you loudly claim that the middle class was only invented after the war. Even if you don’t know British history, at least be curious about your own Nigerian history. Because the story of palm oil and ivory in Nigeria is tied to the rise of the middle class in Britain in the 19th century. You’re just an incurious and loud talker.

To Peter Obi supporters, it is apparently impossible for anyone to criticise or shade him freely unless they are being paid to do so. That's their mindset.
Meanwhile, we saw how Serah Ibrahim mobilised people with ₦2,000 to protest in Abuja.
Only Peter Obi supporters believe they have the exclusive right to criticise politicians, including those who are not currently in power. But the moment you drag the Agulu Lord Voldemort, they suddenly start wailing that he is a private citizen.
Why do you think you are justified in cursing and insulting others, yet believe your own candidate is untouchable?

Go and read about $2 Billion arms deal or Dasukigate on Wikipedia, you will open mouth on how Sambo Dasuki and the cronies of the then president, Goodluck Jonathan shared monies meant to procure arms against insurgency.
Same Dasuki is the one Tinubu gave National honor. A known thief. A corrupt man to the core. That’s who Tinubu thought fit to be given National honor. Why is this man running this country like it belongs to Gang of Lagos?

@Promythious Buhari is the sole reason insecurity escalated to other parts of the country: his nepotistic appointments, cancelling the mercenaries' contract & turning a blind eye to Fulani invasion are why we are here today. Tinubu's nonchalance & cronyism just exacerbated it.

The total Security Forces Strength of the Nigerian State is over 600k, with the Nigerian military alone has up to 200k, NPF is over 350k, other Security Agencies make up the rest.
The limit to this numbers is simply cost.

I wrote a thread sometimes ago on how this is a major contributor to political apathy in Nigeria. The average Nigerian has seen different variations of leaders from the highly educated to not so educated and the constant with all of them is disappointment.

It's not even the same.
Adelabu is a first-class graduate of OAU. He rose through the ranks with all the experience and training one could get at PWC and FBN till he became an Executive Director at 39. Then went on to be a Deputy Governor at CBN. All of these, he earned because of what he had to offer.
The one who shall not be named was either placed there due to political reasons or voted in by smaller shareholders.

@Promythious No he did not. Around the time he assumed office, BH were on the ropes, put to the sword by Eeben Barlow's men. What did our favorite useless general do? Refused to renew their contract, declared BH "technically defeated" and looked on forlornly as they regrouped.

It is the easiest possible explanation they could come up with instead of a little bit of curiosity and everyone just swallows it up without perusing the theory.
I know a former Ekiti governor who handed guns to cult members to snatch ballot boxes in Ikole-Ekiti 15 years ago. Why would they need prisoners from Ethiopia when there is surplus of idle youths.

You people just sit down and make things up in your head. Nigeria has been signing Prisoner Transfer Agreement since the days of Obasanjo. The politicians don’t rate you high enough to use prisoners in Ethiopia for their dirty election rigging when they have cult members.
Personally, I oppose these Prisoner Transfer Agreement because our prison system is corrupt and some of these people will bribe their way out and end up not serving time. In few years, Ethiopia will most likely cancel the agreement when they discover Nigeria is abusing the process.

Most of the leaders in the country especially in the south had public or private sector careers. Engineers, banker, doctors, lawyers etc but we somehow believe they are not smart when they end up in positions of power and become ineffectual.
Akeredolu (SAN) was one of the best lawyers in the country and was a disappointment in Ondo state. People complain about Soludo daily here but he is a brilliant economist.
Bosun Tijani worked in the private sector and was highly touted but he looks clueless to all today. Akin Alabi built a business but he’s just another politician that is not smart to you.
Sanwo-Olu was ridiculed as a psychiatrist ward patient regardless of his private sector experience. There are outliers but most of these people are not outright blockheads.
