@The_Avg_Bear I started in Aug 25 first time in my life day trading. Made 6k from 2k account by Jan 26 and lost what i made and little more by March 26 . Now i see it was luck and market conditions.

Este mes cumplo 1 año desde que decidí volcarme de lleno al Day Trading. Inicié discrecional en mayo y en septiembre lancé mi primer portafolio sistemático con ejecución manual. Como se aprecia en la imagen, mis primeros dos meses sistemáticos, septiembre y octubre, fueron los mejores de toda la muestra del portafolio. Algo bastante curioso. Esto tiene su lado bueno y su lado malo. La parte buena: esos primeros dos meses me permitieron empezar a capitalizar la cuenta y hoy poder operar más tranquilo. La parte mala: también estuvieron llenos de errores, malas ejecuciones y aprendizaje. Hoy, si esos dos meses se repitieran con el capital actual, mis números serían mucho más altos. Lo que quiero decir es que hay mucho trabajo, sacrificio y tiempo detrás, pero también hay un factor que no depende de nosotros: el momentum, la varianza, la suerte; como quieras llamarlo. Yo elegí este portafolio, pero podría haber elegido otro. De hecho, si analizo hoy otras variantes que no utilicé, algunas han rendido mejor estos últimos 3 meses. Eso es lo más difícil de aceptar: al final solo vivimos uno de los caminos posibles entre miles. Lo duro es comprometerte a hacer siempre lo mismo, porque no sabes cuándo volverán esos “dos meses mágicos”. Y muchas veces son esos tramos los que pueden cambiarte la vida. Y si: Tengo mil dudas, estoy cansado del stress del resultado, de la ansiedad "por llegar", de pasar horas interminables analizando cientos de estrategias, etc... Pero para eso, como mencionó ayer @sergidown con esa gran frase de Séneca: “La suerte es lo que ocurre cuando la preparación se encuentra con la oportunidad.”

Been pretty surprised recently talking to some ppl, I thought almost everyone had broker level max loss at this point but seems like nope. I have had one since 2022 and it is a non negotiable for me to prevent one bad day from ruining my career. Wanted to poll you guys:

Desastroso. -$40K Tenia tiempo q no me "tilteaba" asi Creo q tiene ver con el haber hecho $56K en 1 dia y pensar me las se todas. Buena dosis de humildad. Si ves un trader muy arrogante, ese no es trader... o si lo es pero bien malo...creeme... $HTCO... perra.

-146$ 🔴 -0,90% Días complicados últimamente. Si no pillas un trade decente como hoy $GLND se complican los días. Ya con la cuenta cerca de 17K (empecé con 2,5K) se pone interesante el coumpanding, pero necesito un par de buenos meses, vamos a ver que pasa con la PDT.

I came pretty close to 69,420 lol

+69k day. $AKAN I shorted midday which I usually don't like to do but I was confident on it since other pot stocks were fading. $AMST small short and hit partial near the top and covered and shorted the bounce. No size. $BYND I held a small short overnight and covered into weakness. $CPIX small scalp shortly after the open. I thought this could have staying power but it just faded all day. $MSOS and $YCBD I sold the rest of my swing longs premarket and luckily I didn't get greedy and was mostly out prior to the after opening dump. I was not prepared for such a big dump and fade so whiffed on the shorts. I was hoping they would have a little more staying power. I'm very upset for screwing up $CAR so I plan to do more studies on extreme multi-day, multi-week runners. I'm always early on these and take losses then when the dump comes I either cover way too early or miss it all together. $HTZ I should have at least held my short and not covered yesterday. I'm going to let it go and learn from it. All I can do at this point. At least my other trading has been solid all week and made back a significant part of my drawdown from that 2nd week in April.

@Tradr_G how do you pick this stocks daily or is it same standard list?

+$37,266 today Market was difficult and took away some profit overnight. Today is roofing maintenance day and pool opening day. Busy around here!! Hope you traded well.

Not sure what happen to me today, but all my rules went out the window. Luckily i was able to bring down the -6k loss down to this but awful work on my part today. $ARTL $BIYA $ENVB $SDST $EFOI

Career worst 6 day red streak thankfully coming to an end here. Monday so smaller size which probably helped with emotions and execution. $CMND scalps with recycles paying the easiest. $ENVB had good entries but stuck in the reclaim and open squeeze, bailed flat once it rugged.

Completely REKT today on $BIRD. Shorted the open and got skipped for a -30k loss, then revenge traded with size and covered over 20 for a blow up max loss.
