The reverse scenario is probably 10 times more likely to occur with how bad boomers have rotted their brains. When I was in high school I had to stop myself from lecturing a Vietnam vet about how no, people did not spit on you when you returned.

Sometimes you're there when it happens, and everyone around you tells you there were 40 beheaded babies. And you believe it for decades. And some snotnose kid correctly tells you that no, there weren't.

how is it not obvious that the screenshotted tweet is a criticism of how the show portrayed this rather than a complaint that this is not a real-life issue. the show DID portray it as a borderline non-issue that was primarily mined for jokes.

This happens in hospitals across the country. It leads to preventable death/injury. What about back in the day when there was only paper? People died. From incomplete patient history, from incorrect blood types, from delayed care even more than today. It’s a real threat.
