@kosmoplovci @simplifyinAI Sumtra is excellent application, but revpdf is more of an editor not just an viewer, it have bunch of pdf utility tools as well.

@simplifyinAI there is already a 10 MB free offline pdf reader which is a 19 year old, mature product and also not an ai generated slop, created with actual skills coded by actual human programmers. it's called Sumatra PDF sumatrapdfreader.org

@MPenssiia @simplifyinAI As far as I can assure, completely remove its access to internet. Revpdf is designed to being offline and private as its core ideology. As far as for trust the file never leaves the computer in the first place.

@RevPdf @simplifyinAI i dont upload my private and confidential data on X. yet PDF is mostly documents " important documents " big difference . why not to open the code if you are all clean . its free anyway

@RevPdf Hi, like the look of this prog. Downloaded the .exe for Win the other day & checked it on VirusTotal, where it showed up with a hit (on 1 of 67 vendors). Any idea what the cause may be?

@RevPdf @simplifyinAI If it's not an open source .I won't use it . And I would not recommend to use it to anyone. Toons of trojans are in Apple store . The code is obfuscated .good luck to you anyways

@MPenssiia @simplifyinAI RevPDF is available to download on app store and play store as well. The macos dmgs are signed and notarized via apple properly .

@McQueen333 @simplifyinAI It is one of the known issue I am trying to address, my current understanding says it might be due to unsigned installer.

@simplifyinAI I uploaded the setup file for Windows to Virus Total. It detected one "malicious" infection.

@simplifyinAI offline pdf editors are usually just wrappers with zero real intelligence i'll believe it when you show me the source code, not a hype video

@RevPdf To note: If Tesseract, consider Tesseract Fast. Its 99% the accuracy, 200% the speed

Next update will be bringing alot on the table: 1- Scanner 2- OCR: making pdf searchable and alot more. 3- Desktop and mobile newer UI. Stay tuned :)

@RevPdf Genial esta aplicación, en linux he encontrado 2 cosas: 1. No permite lanzar la aplicación al abrir directamente un archivo PDF, en otras palabras, no soporta el parámetro %f. 2. No se pueden eliminar links, no hay forma de seleccionarlos.

@RevPdf Hi thanks for your amazing tool ! Just one problem : revpdf.exe on windows is not shown when trying to set revpdf as default application or pdf files. can't setup revpdf as default for pdf on windows :'(

@takeshi_n0524 @nicos_ai I understand your concern, not defending this but for windows one of the reason could be due to unsigned installer. for mac, ios, and android they are on official stores to download.
