~ About my painting process ~
~ I never plan my paintings in advance, which allows my intuition and subconscious mind to unfold. And like in a dream, a painting starts revealing itself, showing something that even I consciously wasn’t expecting .
~ Like encoded messages, paintings carry their secrets. Sometimes I understand my paintings with time, months or even years after I’ve made them. Some I still don’t.
~ After I finish a painting I feel like it has started living its own individual life. I do not possess them or have any authority over them, and they become like autonomous living worlds.
