I'm not shy or reluctant to admit that my mental health has been awful for a while . It's OK not to be OK. I reached out and spoke to an absolute gem at @samaritans last night . We chatted for about an hour and I took the time to hear his story. He was just a guy who cared 😊

Just found out my mate committed suicide on Thursday, aged 52. Can’t believe it, was due to call him next week to get him to start a job with me. There’s always a way out but some people just can’t see it Wish I’d given him a call last week. Ffs 🤦🏻😞 @samaritans

Things can and will get better, people care about you more than you think, keep breathing, look after yourself, talk to professionals if you can’t cope. In the UK the @samaritans are always there to listen. You are not alone.
