As crazy as this sounds, put aside Graham Platner's Nazi tattoo and support for Hamas. Just look at his past statements on women's issues. That alone should've been enough to disqualify him from public office. Yet shockingly, he is the Democratic nominee for the US Senate.

new - Bernie Sanders helped get Platner through, but he ain't done yet. He's going to Minnesota and Michigan this wkend to campaign for Flanagan and El-Sayed. Sanders said in interview his campaign endorsements are “not a question" of taking on Chuck Schumer and his picks. “It’s a question of establishment folks who work with the moneyed interests in status quo politics versus those of us who stand with working families and understand the status quo is not working" “Platner is somebody who’s standing up to big money and fighting for the working class. And I think, in Maine and all over this country, that is a force that is not going to be defeated" Some Dems see a double standard as Sanders and others urge Dem leadership to stay out of primaries: “Rules for me and not for thee. No one can shape primaries, unless it’s me and the way I want them to be shaped"

Graham Platner does not merely have a "Nazi tattoo." It's the worst possible Nazi tattoo. It's the Death's Head "Totenkopf," which was the official symbol of the SS units who ran the death camps. It is not possible to have a more wildly evil and antisemitic tattoo than this. So of course Democrats want him to be a U.S. Senator.
