Used to be incredibly, incredibly high on him. Especially the first season under Ange, thought he could become an all action midfielder.
But harsh reality is, he has improved absolutely nothing. Which is incredibly concerning. He is exactly the same player he was in his first season.
That being said, he is a nice squad/rotation player that can play in either midfield role. Wouldn’t count on him as a consistent starter though.

What are your thoughts on Pape Matar Sarr? 🤔🇸🇳 I saw someone say he’s been at the club for 4 years and hasn’t improved. I think that’s quite harsh. I’ve always been quite a fan of Pape. I think his ceiling is really high. It’s crazy that he’s still only 23 years old. I believe there is a genuinely quality player in there but I think #THFC fans are quite split on him….🤷♂️ Let me know what you think. 💭
