There are SOOO many mentorship programs hosted by institutions downtown but unfortunately, they do NOT target those who need them the most! That's exactly why we founded @StepintoSTEM and created the "Guide to STEM" that lists programs + scholarships for racialized students!

I love the @UofT drive and excellence but until we can empower students rather than bully them and pit them against each other, we are not gonna mobilize all of our students' potential. All students experience the "uoft tears" but not all make it through 😥

Our second event was as amazing as we hoped it would be. It would not have been possible without all the incredible professors at @uoft who graciously allowed us to enter their labs and lectures to learn from them. The participants had an incredible day and learned so much.
