@vicious696 I tried the Full Screen Experience a few months ago, and it was really easy to add non-xbox games, but yeah the covers they got were so ugly. I’m not even sure if we can add a good cover manually?

These updates are great but one quality of life feature I'd love to see for the Xbox App on PC and Handhelds would be to automatically import cover art for digital libraries (Steam, Epic, etc) Right now you can use a 3rd party app to update cover art manually but this should be a seamless process within the Xbox App

@Colteastwood It feels like top level Microsoft goals for Xbox changed when Phill left. Things dont add up. Was it Phill messing up, revenue goals, Phill trying to collect a bonus? Xbox doesn’t need to make as much money now that its under new leadership. Why not lower the goal under Phill?

@DestinLegarie I did this a few weeks ago and had to do the same thing. I think the full screen experience has potential, but I cant stand the covers it gives to non xbox games. At least in Steam Big Pic mode I can update the covets of non Steam games.

There is a Mod on Nexus for this, that’s what the video is. However, it’s not on the Creation Club, so its not available for consoles. But the mod proves it’s possible, and probably pretty easy to implement.

I got a McDonalds add on X. I have a few thoughts: 1. The add is for a kids movie, I think. There shouldn’t be any kids on X. 2. I don’t eat happy meals, I am an adult. 3. I am not subscribed to Nexflix and have never seen the movie. 4. I have not eaten there is over 15 years.

@DestinLegarie Xbox should lower their console prices right now, right after the Playstation price hike. Be the renegade. I know hardware losses would increase, but they could actually gain market share. Assuming they aren’t planning to abandon Series S and X when Helix comes out…

@SynthPotato When Starfield came out players found a way to access the vendor chests. One of the first patches released included a fix to stop it. I thought to myself, why? Its a single player RPG, if someone wants to glitch money, who cares? This was one of Bethesdas priorities.

Crimson Desert players found a trick that allowed them to fly by spamming the stab ability while airborne Pearl Abyss saw this exploit & instead of patching it, added a whole new animation, making it a real mechanic THIS is how you treat players right!

@Colteastwood The Series S really isn’t to bad. My wife has a Series S and I have a Series X and we play couch coop on seperate TVs, most games I cant tell much of a difference. A few games I can tell the textures are not as good on the S.

@JezCorden Downgraded to Essential as soon as the price went from $20 to $30. $30/mo = 360/year - $120 (Essential AkA xbox live) = $240 you need to spend on GamePass games a year to break even.

Xbox Game Pass at $30 a month is just too expensive. There's no universe where that price makes sense. I bet a vanishingly small amount of people actually use all the services contained inside it. Agree with this piece.

@Pirat_Nation At least Bungie delayed Marathon and hopefully addressed the feedback from the play tests. I am not into extraction shooters, so still not for me, but we will see soon enough.

@DaveOshry This shows part of the problem with the gaming industry. Gaming is unique in the way it demands the customers time. when you have exponential supply you would need matching increase in new consumers for the developers to all have their piece of the pie.
