@TheMarxMachine @MyNiggaEli the intent isn’t really to thicken it tho, it jeeps it MOIST and it gives it a smooth glossy consistency. like its watering it down but has enough starch to thicken it up a little so it cancels out if that makes sense
also i use a lot less water to boil pasta than most people

@anthony64748247 @MyNiggaEli Much better than a splash of pasta water is a 1:1 ratio of water and flour mixed vigorously. Pasta water doesn’t have enough thickening agent in it to effectively thicken a sauce, you’re just watering it down that way

@MyNiggaEli the issue is either don’t have enough sauce or aren’t putting a splash of the pasta water in the sauce (if you never heard of this, TRUST ME) so it gets dry. add an extra splash of water if needed and it should reheat just fine
