@elonmusk Who’s going to buy the food if nobody is working? Robots don’t eat popcorn, and unemployed humans can’t afford it. Progress without people isn’t innovation it’s collapse. @ThreadSnatcher

@wisdom_god2861 Is it the disrespect or is it the tape? Power stripped of accountability is merely vanity in disguise. True democracy thrives on dissent it isn't a monarchy demanding silence. Before you rush to court, perhaps try denying the reality of the tape first. Goog is good.

Seyi tinubu VDM, the disrespect you have shown toward the President my dad has gone too far, I will not tolerate it any longer. You don't have the right to dispute what the President said. This is not a matter of opinion it is disrespect toward the President. You will be sued sn

Threatening citizens with Kirikiri beans for speaking about politics is not strength it’s the behaviour of people who know they cannot defend their record without intimidation. The moment a government relies on fear, bullying, and threats instead of results, it has already lost the moral argument.

No amount of propaganda from any corner imaginable will work against President Tinubu during this election period. The circus and coordinated nonsense some of you pulled in 2023 will not be tolerated. This time, you had better strategize properly: build alliances, close ranks, form whatever "collision" is necessary, and face the electorate with substance, not recycled fake news and emotional blackmail masquerading as activism. We will match you guys pound for pound, gbas for gbos, with a complimentary plate of Kirikiri beans on the side. 👌🏽

This is everything wrong with our political culture in one statement. The moment you proudly say you’ll support someone regardless of competence, sanity, or even whether votes matter, you’re no longer defending democracyyou’re admitting complicity in destroying it. That mentality is exactly how nations decay: when tribal loyalty replaces accountability and shame disappears from public life.

@instablog9ja This is beyond painful to watch. Citizens are now being reduced to queuing for meat, turning survival into a public spectacle. It is one of the clearest signs of a system that has stripped people of dignity and pushed desperation into full public view.

You Naija people really love collecting titles 😂 Voice of the Masses Civic Educator, Youth Voice yet your entire page is just unpaid PR for politicians failing the same masses you claim to represent. At this point, the only thing you’re educating people on is how to become a professional mouthpiece for the status quo.

Obi’s supporters should enlighten me. What exactly would Peter Obi have done differently regarding security in Nigeria?

Stop shielding incompetence with the politics is hard excuse. It’s a transparent attempt to shift blame away from the people collecting state resources while the country suffers. The reason this defence keeps appearing is obvious political loyalty matters more to some people than accountability. The system isn’t just hard it is structured to reward the dysfunction you are defending. And when ordinary people are paying with their lives, it’s not easy is not an acceptable answer.

I’m not a Peter Obi supporter, but this question is peak performative ignorance. Asking what he would do differently is a hollow deflection when Nigerians are being kidnapped, villages razed, and human life treated as something worth pocket change. The real question is not what would Obi do? it’s what is the current government doing that has actually worked? Nobody is asking for magic overnight. People are asking for intelligence-led policing, real accountability, and economic reforms that stop feeding criminal recruitment. Right now, terrorists are emboldened, citizens are disposable, and yet we are expected to applaud speeches while the country bleeds.

It isn’t that they are scared; it’s pure, unadulterated stupidity. When you see how tragically cheap a Nigerian life has become, you realise the shock isn’t coming from fear it’s from understanding just how little value is placed on human existence in this country. Quarter of a chicken? Lol. I eat a whole chicken suya for lunch, and these people still have to struggle to cook raw chicken. Chai. Talk about weaponising poverty !

This has to be one of the most intelligent and tactically profound response from any President. I think he deserves an applause, what do you think? Man breaks down Pres. Tinubu's response on Insecurity. Watch till end to understand.

What a delusion. This is exactly the kind of sycophancy that kills political accountability. You’re performing Olympic-level mental gymnastics to turn a hollow, incoherent platitude into some kind of strategic masterstroke. The President isn’t being profound he’s weaponizing religious analogies to distract from a catastrophic security failure while citizens are being abducted. Let’s be honest: quoting scripture to kidnappers doesn’t stop a single bullet or rescue a single child. You’re doing PR work for free, trying to package state incompetence as "tactical intelligence." Nigeria is in this "soup" specifically because people keep making excuses for leaders who substitute real security solutions with empty symbolism. Your defense is the political equivalent of a student who clearly didn’t understand the assignment but keeps talking in circles, hoping the audience mistakes word count for brilliance. It’s genuinely embarrassing that you think this constitutes leadership. When you choose to defend this, you aren't just engaging in political debate you’re helping to normalize a failure that is costing actual lives.

I get the need to appreciate progress, but it’s hard when basic infrastructure feels like it was designed through incompetence, guesswork, and pure survival instinct. We can acknowledge progress while still demanding higher standards, proper maintenance and competent planning from those in charge. Imagine the Lagos Coastal Road, constructed in 2026 by Umahi, becoming practically unusable after the first heavy rain. That’s not progress that’s madness.
