@cherriesaint In addition , if they follow the books: TVL and QoTD- When Lestat is kidnapped, a lot of the ancients as well as the characters we have already met come together to stop Akasha + Armand establishes Night Island where the “main” vamps live together awhile after the events of QoTD

@cherriesaint I personally imagine we’ll at least see them verbally spar again - it was just too good, he’s friends with Daniel who is Armand’s fledgling, and Louis might have some other questions or things to say after hearing more abt Lesmand history from Lestat’s perspective

@Cuntyloustat Honestly would be impossible to include everything in one season especially seeing as they are also adding to the plot with new storylines for Louis, Armand, Daniel, etc. and a lot more concert focused/rockstat scenes to the mix ~ so excited for this!

I wonder tho if the universe will end ..I think a spin-off exploring the ancients, Armand, Marius would be a great idea ….

@angelsputinhell I’m expecting that the only “unreliable narrator” moments for Lestat in season three might be along the lines of him recounting memories as though he’s not traumatized, but in the actual flashbacks we’ll see how awful it truly was and how it’s really affecting him in the present

also memory is a monster and personal bias was the device through which louis’ experiences with lestat were presented only in the first 2 seasons. the unreliable narrator device is not being used for s3 bc lestat has not had his memories erased like louis did. sigh

@plaxdimpala @Dreamz_8 Are you worried scenes will be totally rewritten/redacted ?- an example of a “correction” from the books might be something more like - Lestat revealing the reasons he didn’t share about vampire history, his past, etc. partly due to threats from Marius abt killing his fledglings

@plaxdimpala @Dreamz_8 I do not believe the writers will discredit Louis - they’ll just give more context + perspectives to some scenes and reveal character motivations ~ the characters are unreliable narrators, just in different ways

@_sillyppi Tbh I think it’s mostly that way only bc of the direction the books took - being an unreliable narrator wasn’t as much of a continuing theme past the first book I think ~ Sam Red has said though that Lestat will be unreliable, just in a different context

I saw a lot of people claiming that Lestat was smiling or he looked pleased in some way when he saw Claudia die in front of him ~ instead of the clear look of shock/devastation that we all saw - ppl make up anything
