@loustatpr @abovemegan Yeah I'm half decent at reading lips and it looks like "you were her father, you always will be" though I can't even attempt to guess anything else

I don't have a clip handy, but in the reunion scene after the sound cuts out, I've read Louis's lips as saying "You were her father" very emphatically, and that's what makes Lestat finally break and start crying

@NinPotato1 Not a rumor, she posted that on her fb. The first episode of the pilot was called Wolfkiller and it was picked up by Paramount+ with Brian Fuller as the showrunner then they dropped it. Got picked up by Hulu and they dropped it to. That should tell you everything

THIS is what drives me the craziest... They want a 1:1 adaptation but practically Claudia's whole existence is illegal to adapt like that. And I could be wrong but weren't there rumors that Anne & Chris wanted to skip IWTV and start with TVL? The musical tried that and, well.. 😬

@amadeogroomer @NinPotato1 I mean Lestat is the narrator in 2/3 of the books but having Louis' story first to introduce us to Lestat and vampirism is crucial to the whole series.
