Today is Emancipation Day in Canada.✊🏾

On this day in 1834, the Slavery Abolition Act came into force across the British Empire. Instead of compensating slaves, the Government took out the biggest loan in history to pay off the slavers: £300bn in today's money. We only finished paying it off in 2015 #EmancipationDay

@TransmitSafety I have work gloves and a trauma kit in my center console and additional medical gloves in my first aid kit in the back.
