Canada is appalled by the Iranian Government’s execution of a Swedish citizen in Iran. We offer our deepest condolences to the family and express our full solidarity with Sweden. Canada continues to call on the Iranian regime to respect human rights and uphold their responsibilities under international law.

‼️ JUST IN: Iran tonight, on the eve of Nowruz: Amid ongoing strikes on IRGC targets, the streets are alive with defiance. Women are ignoring hijab laws. Dancing—long banned—continues despite threats. This isn’t just celebration. It’s resistance. Many believe the regime’s grip is weakening—and that change is coming. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.

With Pierre Poilievre’s recent trips/speeches/interviews, I think this is the first time (perhaps in our history) that the opposition leader has been more relevant, impactful and meaningful, than our elected government. I’ve never heard Prime Minister Carney relate to the every day person, or industry leaders/diplomats at a level like this. Sure, he uses big words, and says things that make you feel virtuous and morally superior… but there’s no substance to it—reflective in our data. It’s no wonder the establishment works so tireless to shame and vilify conservatives in this nation 🤷‍♀️ Canadians may have elected Carney on a false promise to get a deal with our largest trading partner… though, fate may have it that the only person who actually cared about our quality of life and economy, was the man they tried so hard to silence so they could cling onto power—without results—just a little bit longer before we realize that the only crises was their policies. The only danger was them not reversing them. And the only division, has been the names they call everyone who questions them. Canada needs a real leader. Not a world economic forum keynote speaker.

This is now the fifth position Prime Minister Carney has taken on Iran. Now we learn that Canada joined the statement only after it had already been issued by the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Japan. Late to the table and changing its stance as events unfold. It’s now clear that inconsistency is the theme, not nuance. Allies are acting while Canada, under Carney, is reacting, recalibrating, and arriving after the fact… again and maybe not even for long. theglobeandmail.com/world/article-…

So much of Canada’s military capability, and nearly 20% of our economy, relies on satellites. We’re making an historic investment toward a Canadian-owned launch pad to send satellites into orbit — strengthening the @CanadianForces, our sovereignty, and our economic security.

Seeing as Poilievre's Rogan appearance didn't go poorly at all, and may have helped shift US views on tariffs slightly in Canada's favour, is it time to push @MarkJCarney to also go the Joe Rogan podcast? Maybe him and @PierrePoilievre could go on the show together.

PIERRE CRUSHED IT ON JOE ROGAN: -He defended Canada against 51st state comments -He was very charming -He REFUSED TO CRITICIZE CARNEY on foreign soil -He rightfully so, defended that Castro is not Trudeau’s father -He respectfully & tactfully didn’t fall into conspiracy theory traps -He did a beautiful job explaining his role as the Opposition & how keeping the government to account is the most loyal thing one can do Joe Rogan showed a great deal of respect for him, his intelligence & they both laughed hysterically when Joe asked him “How did you lose?!” People don’t realize, that as much as Joe Rogan is painted as “far right”, he’s logical and I consider him well balanced. There’s a reason why he has the biggest podcast in the world. Pierre did an incredible job.

This is what Canada needs! A government that stops trying to run everything out of Ottawa and control your life. Instead: Let people live their lives and buy and sell things freely. A government that does a few things well, instead of too many things poorly.
