@RealFalcon_7 We also have real polls at the ballot box. The PPC has run with immigration as its cause celebre party issue in three federal elections and has zero seats along with significantly less than 1% of the vote (and downward trending no less).

@AmazingZoltan Cool, we have opinion polling. Fine, what we don't have is a Conservative government. I stand by my position that if you were correct about this strategy, we'd have had Erin O'Toole as a PM already. Nobody played more middle ground than him.

Another fascinating pivot to the middle that will pay off big time in the real world whilst also engendering hysterical backlash from the remigration extremists (who are perpetually hysterical and unhappy anyways).

@AmazingZoltan What was number one? Cost of living? Housing? These issues aren't mutually exclusive. The one at the bottom of the list could be causing the issues at the top, and Iikely are. Also, who did they ask? How were the questions framed, etc etc.

@RealFalcon_7 When asked what the most important issue was to Canadians during the last election, immigration came in dead last at 2%. I will grant that this is an important issue but it's also a niche issue that punches way above its weight on X as compared to the real world.
