Why did Congresswoman Spanberger vote against the continuing resolution to keep the government open. She wants to be governor of Virginia and yet Virginians who work for the federal government will be directly hurt by her vote. She should be voting to keep the government open and federal employees in the jobs not for a shutdown and layoffs or even firings for her constituents.

Trump has now reaffirmed his plan to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. For the record that department funds, among other things, all the special education and special needs program in public schools and public colleges in all 50 states.
