I don't like when people call Hamas, Hezbollah, IRGC and so forth cowards. These people are willing to face almost godlike opponents for what they believe in. What they believe in is lame and retarded, but they're not cowards. To call your enemy a coward is to diminish yourself.

I have two clear messages: First, to the United States & Israel: It’s high time to end this war that is risking to get out of control, causing immense suffering on civilians, with dramatic effects on the global economy & potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries. Second, my message to Iran: Stop attacking your neighbors, they were never parties to the conflict. The Security Council has condemned these attacks, has ordered them to stop, as it has order to open the Strait of Hormuz. The prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz causes enormous pain for so many people around the world who have nothing to do with this conflict. “My son today is burying his father instead of celebrating his bar mitzvah today.” Pnina Cohen and her family were in the local synagogue for Purim festivities when the siren wailed. They ran into the synagogue’s bomb shelter, but it sustained a direct hit from an Iranian missile. Pnina’s husband and mother-in-law were among the nine people killed. “I was right beneath the hole that was torn open, and I have no explanation for how we were not more seriously hurt. We experienced a great miracle. And despite all the pain, I feel that we were under great protection.” The regime in Iran fired a ballistic missile at Beit Shemesh, completely destroying a synagogue on the day of Purim, including the synagogue’s shelter.

100% of the people killed by Iranian missiles in Israel during this operation were civilians. Iran destroyed a hospital and hit two schools. I'm sorry that we have bomb shelters and good air defenses and don't die at a pace that satisfies you.

@AncientBlackman Hamas is not the problem. It's just one political party and just one of the groups that attacked Israel. It's like framing WWII as a war against Japan's ruling party (can you even name it without googling?) instead of the state. It's wrong on a philosophical and moral level.

One of Israel's biggest mistakes is framing this war as an operation against Hamas rather than Gaza. If you're fighting Hamas, how can you justify leveling entire cities? However, if you're fighting Gaza, this is justified. Now Israel is making the same mistake with Lebanon.
