A 14-year-old orphan in Gaza told me he wants to be a journalist. I asked why, expecting the usual reply about telling our story to the world etc...he says "because suicide is haram". Apparently he's not the only who made this decision for that reason. Congratulations world.

If we had a bigger newsroom, an investigation into this lawyer Tim Parlatore would be something we’d have done by now. He found a loophole to work for the Pentagon under Hegseth without having to leave private practice by becoming a Naval reserve officer. It’s insane. He represents people suing the Pentagon while working at the Pentagon, takes money from officers who want promotions from Hegseth, and works for god-knows-who-else. We completed the investigation at Minab school, so Donald Trump doesn't have to. Triple tap U.S Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired on a busy school day. Many children were still alive after the first strike. As some tried to flee, they were targeted again - this time with teachers and parents too. This can only be described as evil crimes against children and humanity.

Don't get me wrong, I think in principal it could work, it just doesn't address the fundamental problems at all.

It doesn't take into account the numerous ways you can hide income. And then you throw in this ridiculous assertion that prog. tax is inherently corrupt.
