Good on Dobes for speaking up and asking the team to help him. Not everyone can handle the MTL media grind— and that’s ok— there’s nothing « weak » or « wrong » about it. We also need to stop the « it’s part of the pressure of the city ». The city comes with pressure, but he handles that on the ice. That’s where I want him to deal with the pressure and see what he’s made of. If talking to the media at 24-years-old is making him anxious, then don’t do it. He didn’t say he never wants to do it, he just says that it’s a lot for him and we, as fans, should support him.

@Tys35 @Asnow119 There’s a brief moment with no shot threat here where the play is moving away: that’s the time to get up. At the very least, to have to recognize that the guy’s on his off wing and adjust to centre yourself on the blade. He’s not going to hit you from there.
