Il faut dire les vraies choses. Les personnes qui ont perdu leur emploi pourraient encore travailler à l’école aujourd’hui si elles avaient choisi de retirer leurs signes religieux pendant les heures de travail. Elles n’ont pas été congédiées. Elles ont fait un choix personnel, en toute connaissance de la loi. C’est leur choix, et elles doivent en assumer les conséquences. J’ai déposé le projet de loi 94 dans la foulée du scandale de l’école Bedford. Cette loi instaure une laïcité et une neutralité religieuse strictes pour l’ensemble du personnel scolaire, et non plus seulement pour les enseignants comme c’était le cas auparavant. Elle met également fin aux accommodements et aux congés religieux. Bref, nous proposons une loi claire qui vise à protéger les enfants contre toute forme de pression religieuse et à garantir un environnement scolaire véritablement sans religion. La laïcité dans nos institutions publiques et nos écoles est un principe non négociable. I bet you've never noticed this ultra-cool but rather complicated "cone of prediction" at the center of Windows context menus? It allows the system to predict that you're aiming for a flyout. Well, that's because Windows (at least in the old days) didn't do any such fanciness. It just uses a timeout of 400ms, and it's always worked pretty well. It's even adjustable (SPI_SETMENUSHOWDELAY) these days, but used to just be 80% of your double-click speed setting. So the faster your reflexes were - per that setting, at least - the shorter your menu flyout allowance. No cone needed. ( I stole this from a Raymond Chen hockey card that I keep tucked up in my 50 Mission Cap ).
