@Bugzvii I’m at the point now where, just like Steam, you have to own the games to constantly shitpost about it online. These morons are going to ruin gaming. It’s going to make the entire industry cookie cutter as hell. No one will want to innovate because of these hate mobs.
"Marathon is Trash"
"Marathon Is Dead"
"Marathon Is Gonna Fail"
It was fun for impression at the start going back and fourth But gang, I just want to enjoy my game now lol
If u hate the game so much, why do u still talk about it everyday?
@david_shifflet@Pirat_Nation So it’s more logical to assume that there are people buying a game for $40-$60 that didn’t like it or haven’t played it, than believe it’s a good game people like?
@FullGoinSend@Eireto158292@PaulTassi@Forbes It’s at very positive rating on Steam (almost 90%) with detailed reviews by users, and 4.5/5 on PlayStation and Xbox. These are people that actually paid for it. The majority of publications reviewed it at 8 or higher. Are you trying to be this dumb or does it come naturally?
@Eireto158292@algorithm427@PaulTassi@Forbes The people who like the game are allowed to like the game dude. Just dont be a narrow minded numb nuts and say its a good game when there's significant evidence that its not
@FullGoinSend@Eireto158292@PaulTassi@Forbes Based on your logic, any game that has a higher player count is invalid because it’s just a bunch of people justifying their purchase. You really are an inbred moron.
@algorithm427@Eireto158292@PaulTassi@Forbes Oh yeah they definitely changed the requirements to write a review just to fuck marathon over 😂 holy shit people like you are creatures
@Swarllie@MrViceKC@delmontyb I have defended Lono in the past. It definitely seems to me that Chris Barret took things too far, but I don’t exactly have all the information. The reality is that he’d be happy to see Bungie fail, while pretending to be objective. Both things can be true:
@MrViceKC@algorithm427@delmontyb Valentyne summed it up. Although after watching it unfold, and after the girl in question admitted on live stream to them conspiring I would say calling it speculation is off. They definitely did it.
Marathon's design lacks an 'on-ramp' for casual players to become hardcore. Unlike Destiny 1's success, Marathon offers no path for growth, potentially alienating a huge audience. This design flaw hinders its viability as a live-service game. #Marathon#GameDev
@algorithm427@PaulTassi@Forbes 26k concurrent players on a Saturday.
The excuses are up man 😂 im glad the people who enjoy it enjoy it. But to say its a good game is diabolical
@MrViceKC@Swarllie@delmontyb Lono got high. Acted weird with one of the devs soon to be wives. Speculation is they wanted to remove him from being the highest viewer on twitch in the Destiny category, which this devs wife was competing in.
@Swarllie@delmontyb Ya, but none of the devs at Bungie are responsible for that. Chris Barret is gone. So if he’s supposed to have credibility, he shouldn’t have a bias is this discussion. But he clearly does anytime Bungie is mentioned.
@algorithm427@delmontyb I don't know about the others, but to be fair to Lono his grudge is well deserved. Seeing what Bungie did to him is part of the reason I stopped playing Destiny. It was terrible.
@BillyHoWCR@Pirat_Nation Comparing those companies to Bungie is laughable. I think it’s cute you believe we’re having the same conversation. Please be real.
@algorithm427@Pirat_Nation This was after the pre-launch and beta failures. Concord failed too quickly to continue further. Marathon is simply able to drag it out a big longer due not having the direct crash into wall that Concord had. But numbers don't lie... not profitable nor signs of recovery.
