Permanent DST is going to ruin the midterms for Republicans. As the country is starting to get dark and cold going into November barreling towards winter solstice, Americans will realize what a mistake they have made signing onto permanent daylight savings time, giving no relief in the winter from the cold dark mornings. They will be screaming for it to be repealed just like they did in the 70s, but this time the Internet will amplify everything and Republicans will get the blame.

- Skipped multiple grades in school, graduating from high school at 16. - Entered UCLA at age 16, several years younger than the typical freshman. - Graduated UCLA summa cum laude (highest academic honors) with a degree in Political Science. - Was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, America’s oldest and one of its most selective academic honor societies. Membership is based on outstanding academic achievement. - Admitted to Harvard Law School, one of the most selective law schools in the world. -Graduated Harvard Law cum laude, meaning he graduated with honors not merely attended. - At 17, became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the United States through Creators Syndicate. - Published his first book at age 20 and had written two books by age 21. - Worked as an attorney after graduating from Harvard Law before moving into media. - Has since written 16 nonfiction books, several of which became New York Times bestsellers. The problem is that he knows all of this and yet he says it anyway because he needs to attack him and he doesn’t have a legitimate vector. Besides, just saying he’s a Jew. Everybody sees it.

Permanent DST passed the House but is DOA in the Senate because Southern states want more afternoon light but Northern states don't want kids to go to school in the dark. So my modest proposal: permanent DST but midwest and northeast shift one zone West. Everybody gets exactly what they want 🙌

The Eastern seaboard (and Vermont) should move into the Atlantic Time zone. Western NY and Western PA should be in Easstern, which should go right down the mississippi river, keeping new orleans, but the rest of louisiana goes to central. Shift the mountain time zone a few miles to the west as well.

Here’s the thing - it is VERY very easy to trick Ro to adopting your position if he thinks it’s popular. Show him a poll that says everyone loved Oct 7 and he’ll run not walk to paragliding lessons. I was actually thinking about forming a fake group to ban water parks or something to see if he would do it.

Florida has executed 74-year-old Dennis Sochor, making him the oldest inmate put to death in state history. Sochor was convicted of the 1982 kidnapping and murder of 18-year-old Patricia Gifford, who vanished after refusing his advances on New Year's Day. Sochor was arrested in 1986 on unrelated charges and extradited to Florida, where he confessed to choking Gifford and disposing of her body — which was never found. Sochor was executed through a three-drug injection at Florida State Prison in Bradford County.
