@codetaur Nice! FYI, you’ll want to rotate the ISS 90 deg counterclockwise so that it’s flying at the correct attitude, Node 1 facing in the direction of the velocity vector. 😎

Jim Lovell was a veteran of the Gemini VII, Gemini XII, and Apollo 8 missions before becoming the Mission Commander for the Apollo 13 mission to the Moon.
NASA@NASA

We are saddened by the passing of Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo 13 and a four-time spaceflight veteran. Lovell's life and work inspired millions. His courage under pressure helped forge our path to the Moon and beyond—a journey that continues today. go.nasa.gov/41tbrpq

@sturmf1 Not just a shorter rendezvous time, but the SHORTEST time of any Dragon mission! Crew-11 was speedy and docked in under 15 hours. 🏎️

@astrosean_ Good thing to have a shorter time on orbit should the Dragon toilet act up again.😉

56 years ago, the world witnessed one of humanity’s greatest achievements. Today we are (finally) going back to the Moon, and this time to stay. The Moon is the first step to Mars and beyond — humanity will become a multi-planet, space-fairing species! 🚀 💫 #NASA #Artemis
NASA Artemis@NASAArtemis

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the Moon—and with them, the world took a giant leap. That moment sparked a legacy of exploration that continues today as @NASA and its partners advance toward Artemis II and prepare for the next great frontier: Mars.

@Robotbeat I’d read it! In general I love any sci fi that explores what relations between human colonies would be like given it would likely experience a revolutionary period where colonies declare independence from earth

Science fiction story where there is a spacefaring civilization on Mars and the moon, but earth has largely gone backwards and has made it illegal to launch to space. So the space faring folks have technology like sky hooks and rotating tethers that can carry people up from earth in spite of earth laws, if they are able to get past the Karman line.

@mr_aspartame Honestly I typically shoot 50mm+ and sometimes 35 so that’s why the IIIx appealed to me. Looking forward to the pics! Just wish the 2nd hand market for cameras wasn’t so bad lol

@astrosean_ I'll get a bunch of the pictures I took on mine posted online soon, I'll send it over and it'll probably convince you to pull the trigger haha. It's so good. I'd probably recommend the III over the IIIx for most people though since there were times I wish I had a wider angle lens
