Vi kan godt begynde hjemsendelse af syriske asylansøgere. I Tyskland åbner man nu for en diskussion om hjemsendelse af syriske flygtninge, og det er på tide, at vi også tager den i Danmark. Asylsystemet er ikke tænkt som en genvej til immigration af flere hundredetusinder, men derimod som midlertidig beskyttelse. Selvom mange flygtninge har bidraget og bidrager til Danmark, er konsekvenserne af asylmigrationen over de seneste 40 år altovervejende negative. Danmark har enorme udgifter til asylmigranter fra MENAPT-lande og store problemer med kriminalitet forårsaget af den samme gruppe, ligesom vi har oplevet stadig voksende problemer med social kontrol, islamisme og på det seneste antisemitisme. Demokratiske, frie og liberale samfund skabes af borgere, der deler disse værdier, og vi må konstatere, at en alt for stor gruppe af de asylmigranter, der er kommet i de seneste årtier, ikke kan tilslutte sig dem. Alt er langt fra perfekt i Syrien. Men der bor dog knap 25 mio. syrere, og store dele af landet er nu fredeligt. Derfor er det tid til at stoppe tildelingen af permanent opholdstilladelse til syrere i Danmark og i stedet at arbejde for - i lighed med den tyske regering - at iværksætte hjemsendelser af de syriske flygtninge, der er kommet siden 2015. Der kan selvfølgelig være undtagelser. Mens Syrien er blevet et sikkert land for mange syrere, findes der stadig syriske mindretal såsom kurderne, hvor det hele er mere usikkert. Det ændrer dog ikke på, at mange syrere, som er kommet til Danmark som flygtninge, bør sendes hjem igen, nu hvor landet er blevet mere fredeligt.
