Pretty sad day for me. Withdrew my assets from Neutron, given they are closing down. Could only withdraw to Ethereum mainnet (as I was holding maxBTC, which can only be redeemed to wBTC on Ethereum at a fixed ratio). For the first time since 2021 I'm now fully out of Cosmos.

@MaximeL101 @sunnya97 @zkDragon well it will. my osmo will be bought, and I believe the flywheel of osmosis (that despite burning has not seemed to really to impact price positively) will perhaps work for Atom. I think Atom will benefit. traffic, lq Call me naive and optimistic, but that is good in my book.

Full respect to the Osmosis team @sunnya97 @zkDragon, but this should have happened a while ago—probably 2–3 years ago. It's probably a good move, but a little late. It can bring some value to the HUB for sure, but way less than it could have brought months ago.

@IBCanon @osmosis @cosmoshub My osmo bags a heavily in the min. It is a risk I took. Same for Atom. I do believe in osmosis as flagship product that has proven its maturity. I also want Atom to thrive, as the mother of a movement. So in this moment, any movement and tactical consolidation is a positive.

If approved by governance of both chains, the Osmosis DEX will be migrated natively on the Hub — unifying liquidity, governance, and security under one chain. @CosmosEcosystem As osmo and atom holder I love seeing movement. I believe it to be good for the ecosystem as a whole. And perhaps, that it frees osmosis builders, for whom novelty and creativity is a better fit than maintenance of a mature product, to put talent to use elsewhere.

The sovereign nature caused experimentation in the whole. these were the circumstances needed for early days. For connected chains to be mutually beneficial (ecosystem) you simply cannot keep pressing unconnected behaviour.

@tonyler_ @cosmos @NolusProtocol @osmosis agree. this is the right move. I think it is good for both. Good to get hand over a mature, working and trusted brand, osmosis, to the mother, that birthed the movement and needs a flywheel.
