Do NOT ignore this shift. If this changes, the institutional gateway to Bitcoin could blow wide open. Right now banks treat BTC as a toxic asset under Basel rules. It carries a 1,250% risk weight, meaning banks basically have to hold 1:1 capital against any Bitcoin exposure. That makes it almost impossible for banks to offer services around BTC. The Fed just announced a proposal on how these rules will be implemented in the U.S., with a 90-day public comment window. If Bitcoin’s treatment improves even slightly, it could open the door for banks to finally integrate BTC into the financial system. That’s a huge potential liquidity unlock.

Bitcoin at a critical level! It's back at the upper range of the $72k-74k resistance level from last week. We are also solidly back above the 200w EMA. If we manage to close the week above the resistance, $79-80k is the next target.
