@Mortdog Hey Mort, a bug (?) I noticed yesterday that I didn't see in the bug fixes is when you give Wukong the indomitable, the stone Wukong equipped with it will still pull targets. I assume this isn't intended because stone Wukong doesn't actually attack, so I'm mentioning it here.

@abarber1 @Dan__Zack I misunderstood why you called it a rorschach test. Imo there's other possibilities that aren't stated in the 7 (maybe the rate of going to doctors is different between the groups). My null hypothesis is that the fundamental rate of mental illness is the same between groups.

Both "physics" and "democracy" are interpreted broadly. I'm looking at ways to think about social systems using ideas from physical systems. Topics include phase transitions, criticality, power laws, preferential attachment models, chaos theory, attractors, game theory...

I'm teaching a first-year undergrad seminar on The Physics of Democracy this fall. I have many possible readings to use (too many!), but probably there are many others out there I don't know about. Help! What should I be looking at?

@Naturesbf Can you simplify it to just average placement? I would imagine the specific distribution shape has a significant impact on the results, e.g. Someone who's average is 4.5 with only 1st and 8th vs someone who's average is 4.5 with only 4th and 5th.

HELP. I would do this but I simply don't have the time. Run a simulation of someone with a 3.0/3.25/3.5/etc to 5.0 EXPECTED average placement in Regionals. What are their odds to make it to D2/D3 of Regionals? (lets say 28/31 points) What are their odds to make it to worlds?

@Alliestrasza Have you had COVID in the past 90 days? You can show up as false positive on PCR tests while negative if you've been sick with it recently.

Y’all, I’m so sorry I haven’t streamed since being back yet. 😭 I’ve had 2 negative at-home Covid tests, but I’ve got every symptom in the book and Mason tested positive last night. I took a PCR test this morning & I’m awaiting my results so maybe that’ll be more accurate?! 😪

@ben_finegold @RealKidPoker You can lose a lot of money against Chidwick from cbetting these boards too frequently with overcards. If you don't call the x/r with a lot of your overcard hands he gets to bluff you too much and if you do call then the turn and river are more difficult than the line Dnegs took.

@ben_finegold @RealKidPoker Hands that do this will x/raise flop. Doesnt make turn play easier, you just fold more on the flop. AK doesnt wanna be x/r on the flop + turn call is easy imo. Chidwick is a pro, he'll have bluffs + thin value (eg AJ, KJ) so having AK in our hand is really good for a turn call.

Another fun hand vs Chidwick: 200k deep Blinds 1500-3000 You raise UTG AKcc to 7k and he defends BB Flop J55 rainbow one club. Checked Turn 3c and he bets 2x pot 37k Do you call, fold, or raise?

@ben_finegold @RealKidPoker If you're betting all of your overcard hands on that flop as a UTG open you're probably cbetting too much; AK plays very well on later streets cause it can hit top pair + is ahead of a lot of his air that will turn into a bluff on turn / river. Imo at least a mix bt bet and check

@RealKidPoker You need to bet the flop to avoid this situation. Checking is too passive/weak. Play better Daniel.

@AllenKessler Take another test soon, two if you want to be sure. Wait a few hours (12-24) b/t each test ideally. Considering what you did the last week it's much more likely to be a false positive than you might normally expect due to Bayes's theorem and how the test accuracies are reported.

I've been quarantined at thunder valley for over a week now. Finally acquired a rapid test and it came back positive. My symptoms seem to be gone other than an occasional cough. What is the gameplan at this point?
