@arshgoyal13 I put Lyon comfortably in the top 5-10 range atm (think likely multiple LCK and LPL teams average out to be stronger), but still new territory that we don’t even get to entertain as NA fans :/

@tafokints yeah of course, cross-year comparisons are always difficult. i can definitely see the argument that LYON is a top 3-4 team in the world right now and FLY probably wasn't — at least not this convincingly. but FLY *felt* much stronger bc the LCS as a whole wasn't pushing them

reddit is currently discussing a topic that i think is super interesting: "Is current LYON already better than peak FLY?" the argument is that Saint (especially) + Berserker are more mechanically competitive and aggressive, enabling LYON to make more complex teamfights. 🧵

@arshgoyal13 Hard to really test other than like If you place FLY and Lyon in 1000 LCS games, who does better And If you place FLY and Lyon in 1000 worlds games, who does better? I’m inclined to say Lyon for the second question but not sure for the first one

but that said, inspired had a really bad series against HLE overall and the team still got taken to 5 games and very nearly won. also, FLY was SPEEDRUNNING domestic games. they were vastly, vastly better than everyone. LYON is likely even better, but 2-3 are much closer.

It is incomplete however as I was at all these events and there are more details they have yet to uncover. The Jumbo cards were part of the RaidBattle game and the promos were the prizes.

PSA won’t grade these because they don’t know how or why they exist So going with my first TAG submission on these 3!
