@wanderer1982 @SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 If you find it I would be very interested in reading this forward, doesn’t need to be translated
English

@drphiIphd @SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 Believe it was one of the later editions of Foundations of Geopolitics, which Putin used as a foundation for his plans because members of his cabinet were fascinated by the book.
English

Modern Russia seems so much like a decadent rupture compared to the USSR. It followed of continuous progresse, from semi-Tatar origins to a centralized Empire, then to a socialist experiment that first sent men into space. All that just to end in Duginist Orthodox bullshit

English

@wanderer1982 @SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 Okay so you completely made up the forward to Dugin’s book? It had very very little public support, btw.
English

@drphiIphd @SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 You are talking about 2002-ish time.... Because it had a degree of public support, Putin played it on the fence to see how it played out, but backed off when the courts ruled against it (it certainly had the support of members of Putin's own party) web.archive.org/web/2007092800…
English

@wanderer1982 @SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 Can you link a source or some evidence for this. It’s a pretty big claim that Putin would ever want to rehabilitate vlasov
English

@SpaghettiKozak @Bento_1942 @LurkerAg17153 I think it’s as far as Putin wrote a forward note for one of Dugin’s books (think it was the one that praised Andrey Vlasov, as it was at a time Putin was looking to rehabilitate Vlasov)
English

@certaresnovis @DropAPinShow You might be thinking of turkestan, which is basically an imagined nation
English

@DropAPinShow My guess was Kasikstan.
Full disclosure.
I always thought Turkmenistan was an invented country.
Or mispronounced / mistaken country.
Or a previous nation state before Turkey and Kasikstan were formed.
English

@LegoRacers2 @Xenoscient @KealaniSmith @ConsulofRome_ Interesting, but they were obviously creating textiles already so perhaps this object was still used for that
English

@drphiIphd @Xenoscient @KealaniSmith @ConsulofRome_ Knitting seems simple, but it was a technology that had to be developed over thousands of years. The first examples we have are from late Roman Egypt
English

@KealaniSmith @ConsulofRome_ As far as we know, the Romans didn’t have knitting.
English

@PaulSkallas You gotta actually learn something one of these days man

Europe was doomed the moment America and Russia discovered oil in their own countries.
Europe entered the oil age without continental-scale oil abundance.
Europe had to import the fuel of the modern world. That meant dependence.
POLITICOEurope@POLITICOEurope
Europeans have to step up and defend their own interests because the U.S., China and Russia are now all “dead against” them, French President Emmanuel Macron warned today. politico.eu/article/emmanu…

@vytejok @RomanaKainz @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd They left because they were literally nazi collaborators who didn’t want to be arrested you fucking cocksucking liar. Go fuck yourself. When you’re done go fuck yourself again and fuck off forever. Never speak to me again.
English

@drphiIphd @RomanaKainz @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd Sure, they should have stayed in a completely rekt and burned down place after WW2 and be governed by a foreign empire that literally tried to eradicate them a decade earlier. How dare they seek peace and refuge somewhere else, let alone pollute the klansland with their peresence
English

The Holodomor Research and Education Consortium has newly assembled an informative free online course on the history of the Holodomor in Ukraine within a global context of famine and genocide.

@HolodResearchEd
English

@vytejok @RomanaKainz @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd Holodomor didn’t happen to western Ukrainians who fucked off to Canada after the war ended you unschooled retard
English

@drphiIphd @RomanaKainz @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd Holodomor happened before nazis even came to power, you homeschooled retard.
English

@RomanaKainz @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd It was because they were Nazi collaborators escaping justice…
English

@drphiIphd @TimothyDSnyder @HolodResearchEd Do you think all the Ukrainians moved to Canada because they liked adventure? Or was it because of Russians trying to kill them every few years?
English

@Puggersxdd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland If they signed the agreement Russia would have withdrawn to pre invasion borders so how does what you’re saying make sense? I know you’re not lying, what you’re saying is the official position but it’s completely false.
English

@drphiIphd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland Well no it was actually because of bucha and them not wanting to give up other of their countrymen to that fate. Keep making shit up though retard.
English

If you know anything about historical and current relations between russia and Ukraine, you know to ignore John Mearsheimer.
Ukraine wasn't about to be accepted into NATO. Not when the war began in 2014 (see my pinned tweet) nor at the time of the 2022 full-scale invasion.
Hugh Brice@HughBrice
@PaulNiland NATO expansion (per John Mearsheimer) partially antagonized Russia into invading Ukraine. Later, adding those two late comers adds little to NATO and further antagonizes Putin. But why should I care? Europeans want the US out of NATO, so not our problem. I no longer care.
English

@Puggersxdd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland Bucha is the publicly presented reason for it falling through but it absolutely is not the real reason. The real reason is that Ukraine thought it could win at that point, and this was encouraged by false western promises of “total support.”
English

@drphiIphd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland Yeah if only that happened, too bad the russians just couldnt help themselves but to massacre civilians. Bucha is the reason negotiations fell through and they have nobody to blame but themselves.
English

@Puggersxdd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland If a peace agreement was signed in late March early April 2022 then it wouldn’t have become this terribly bloody and costly war. It would’ve been more akin to the Georgia war of 2008 which was ended within a couple of weeks. Preferable outcome to what we have now.
English

@drphiIphd @IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland "You might join in the not near future so its time for war"
Lmao.
English

@NVMate @laser_kiwi_ua It was either that or be captured by the Red Army. No one forced Stalin to “end the holodomor.”
English

@laser_kiwi_ua Thanks to the guy who killed hitler. He did what others couldn't! Such a hero!
English

Thank you russian imperialists for kindly ending the genocide of Ukrainians you started after you starved enough of us to death. Your kindness truly knows no bounds.
38Parrots@Parrots38
Then who ended the Holodomor?
English

@IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland Russia, whatever it may be politically, is also a country that has to consider its own security. You can start from there.
English

@drphiIphd @PaulNiland "Ukraine is not and was not about to join NATO. That isn’t in dispute."
By the cause and the effect, you mean russian fascism and revanchism?
English

@IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland You can believe whatever you like, but it won't help Ukraine to ignore the cause and effect which preceded the war.
English

@drphiIphd @PaulNiland "Ukraine is not and was not about to join NATO. That isn’t in dispute."
And there we go. Thank you for confirming that the excuse of the fascist russia to start this war was just an excuse of a fascist revanchist country to start a war of colonial conquest.
English

@IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland Ukraine is not and was not about to join NATO. That isn’t in dispute. So then why did we refuse to promise Russia that Ukraine would not join NATO in the future. This is what Mearsheimer recommended, and it’s false for you to say we followed his advice.
English

@drphiIphd @PaulNiland Show me one official document from 2020/1/2 making Ukraine part of NATO.
English

@joni_askola Wait I thought their goal was genocide? The total elimination of Ukraine as a state?
English

@IBoltonovitsch @PaulNiland His advice was to promise no NATO for Ukraine and we refused repeatedly.
English

@PaulNiland Truth is even worse, mearsheimer actually lies that he predicted the war. He was advocating for appeasement as a way to avoid the war, we followed his advice, putin attacked anyway, and now he's rewriting his own claims from 2014 to avoid embarrassment.
