EBF Rockets Baseball

Rockets split with Albia, losing game one 6-2, & winning game two 7-5. Wyatt Sandeen threw 6 2/3 innings in the pitching victory, &Jack Bunnell had 3 hits including a 2R HR. For Coach Hallgren, that marks career win #200. EBF is 7-14. We travel to Knoxville on Tuesday.

Rockets drop one to Cardinal tonight 7-1. We have the weekend off before traveling to Albia on Monday

Rockets get a sweep over Clarke tonight. Hayden McCrea got the victory on the mound in game 1, 4-3. Wyatt Sandeen threw a complete game in game 2 for an 8-3 win. Jack Bunnel knocked 3 hits including a 2 run homer. We improve to 6-11 and 6-6 in the SCC. We host Carlisle tomorrow

Here are some highlights from EBF's season-ending loss against the #1 seed in Class 2A Dike-New Hartford. The Rockets gave the Wolverines a "Halloween scare" in set one but fell 25-22. Then DNH pulled away in the final two to sweep EBF. Full recap tonight at 10. @KTVOTV

No major renovations this fall, but we laid about 1800 sq ft of sod to bring our diamond close to MLB specs. Also drilled in several hundred pounds of grass seed in the outfield last month to improve thin OF turf.
