@LeonardBriscoe3 Let the Government work out a deal, then when we know exactly what the terms are of rejoining, good and bad, put it to another referendum. People didn't know the terms of the exit deal before voting & there were thousands who's minds were made up before Camerloon announced a vote

It is blatantly obvious that everyone wants the UK to rejoin the EU. The referendum was a sham, children could not vote and many adults did not vote at all, clearly meaning they did not wish to leave.

@WinkelTroy @Simon_Ingari I learnt very quickly after qualifying from my apprenticeship that employee loyalty is worth 0% & at a later job, that just because you're a top performer, you'll be got rid off if they decide wage budget is too high, despite those remaining being unable to do the job properly.

The claim that nobody at the heart of government — ie close to Starmer — knew Mandelson had flunked his security vetting is unravelling at a rate of knots. Starmer’s head of comms was alerted by the media last September. Sources tell me multiple folks in the Cabinet Office (where the UK Security Vetting unit is based) had known for quite some time. Cat Little, Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary, even had a copy of the UK Sec Vet January 2025 document concluding Mandelson was unfit to be US ambassador. She informed the new cabinet secretary Antonia Romeo. Soon there were about a dozen lawyers and officials crawling all over it. Such matters don’t stay secret for long in the upper echelons of Whitehall. But it seems the PM was still in the dark … until last Tuesday. Mmmmmm

Horrendous. Poisoned meat has been found in Parks in London leaving animals and dogs dead and seriously ill. Who would do something so cruel?? The locations (so far) are Holland Park and Brompton Cemetery for anybody in London looking to walk their dogs near there. Dog walker local to the park said this: "In this case, it's poison meat," he said. "Before we've had toys that have been left around that have been poisoned. The worst one that really shocked me was razor blades being left in tennis balls." One woman walking her dog in Holland Park told BBC London: "I'm totally disgusted. I can't even imagine why anyone would do that." Another dog walker said: "It's absolutely horrendous. I'm not sure if someone's doing it for a spiteful reason. "It will stop people coming to the park with their dogs."
